We are pleased to announce that free online zazen gatherings in English with Inoue Kando Roshi will be held on September 26-27, 2026 and March 27-28, 2027 (dates vary by time zone), to mark the half-year and one-year anniversaries of the publication of his book, The Fundamental Premise of Zen Practice: Truth, Enlightenment, and Zazen. Registration is now open.

The gatherings are open to anyone who has read this 61-page book.

 

During each 2.5-hour gathering, Inoue Kando Roshi will offer a lecture, followed by a short period of zazen and a Q&A session. English interpretation will be provided by the translator of the book.
